Design Engineer II

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Design Engineer II will manage network design assignments, perform circuit design activities, and communicate progress with internal teams while meeting performance targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for design planning, record creation, and order fulfillment of Zayo's products, focusing on growth products
• Provide support to field operations to resolve complex circuit provisioning problems and ensure timely completion of orders
• Review orders for technical correctness and maintain customer commitments and deadlines in the database

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of three years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience
• Intermediate knowledge of data networking and telecommunications, including various network products
• Working knowledge of routers and other data hardware
• Experience using Microsoft Office and project management software
