Design Engineer II - Optical

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer II - Optical responsible for designing and implementing capacity on the DWDM network.

Key Responsibilities

• Design planning and capacity fulfillment for U.S. and Canadian networks
• Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver service requirements and provide updates on project progress
• Review capacity requests and maintain customer commitments in the database

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of Telecommunications and/or data networking experience
• Working knowledge of optical systems and signal flow designs using ROADM technology
• Familiarity with optical systems including Fuji, Adva, Ciena, Cisco, Infinera, and Nokia
• Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office or Google programs
