Design Engineer II - PV Solar

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Design Engineer II - PV Solar will create design sets for renewable energy projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and manage multiple projects while collaborating with clients and senior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Create sheet sets and perform design work for renewable energy and substation projects
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and manage time efficiently across multiple projects
• Coordinate with clients and project managers, presenting engineering assignments during project meetings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar applicable work experience
• 2+ years of experience in design and drafting utilizing AutoCAD
• 2+ years of experience in solar PV systems or energy storage system design
• Commercial or utility-scale experience is desirable
• Passion for multi-disciplinary design integrating civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering disciplines
