Design Engineer, Industrial Solutions

Job Summary

Owning the design portfolio for Industrial Solutions, the full-time Design Engineer will establish design standards, conduct user research, and contribute to prototypes and production code in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain visual, interaction, and workflow standards across all Industrial Solutions products
• Conduct user research to map user journeys and translate complex workflows into intuitive product experiences
• Collaborate on product prototypes and make targeted code contributions to refine UI and interaction patterns

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Design, HCI, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in design engineering, UX engineering, or product design
• Portfolio showcasing shipped product work and design decision rationale
• Proficiency in Figma, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Experience owning or contributing to a design system
