Design Engineer - Power Systems

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer - Studies to support power system studies within the renewable energy and power markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system studies such as transient over voltage, insulation coordination, and harmonics using software like PSCAD, ETAP, and EasyPower
• Provide quality support to wind, solar, and BESS generator owners in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize Python scripting to implement efficient processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of working experience, with at least 1 year related to power systems
• Experience in PSCAD is required; experience in ETAP and EasyPower is preferred
• Experience with programming in Python is preferred
• EIT status or working towards EIT status
