Design Program Manager

Job Summary

As the first Design Program Manager, this full-time remote position will manage the Product Design team's operating cadence, create lightweight systems for project clarity, and enhance cross-functional collaboration while maintaining the team's fast-paced workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Build and run Product Design's core operating cadence, including status updates, critiques, and design reviews
• Create systems to clarify priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and ownership across product areas
• Improve launch readiness by identifying quality risks, tradeoffs, and readiness for shipping products

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in design program management, design operations, or a related role
• Experience in a high-growth product environment with rapidly shifting priorities
• Deep understanding of product design processes to enhance critiques and delivery workflows
• Proven ability to turn ambiguity into clear operating structures and practical rituals
• Strong judgment on when to add structure or simplify processes to support team efficiency
