Design Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading multidisciplinary design teams, the full-time Design Project Manager will manage complex facility projects for clients in the life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical sectors, ensuring design excellence and client satisfaction while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the design phase of facility projects from concept through construction documentation, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary design liaison with clients, facilitating communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead and coordinate internal design teams and external partners to deliver integrated solutions on schedule and within budget

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in design project management, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech facility design
• Strong understanding of GMP, cleanroom design, and regulatory environments
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in design software (Bluebeam, Navisworks) and project management platforms
