Design System Lead

Job Summary

Driving the strategy and governance of a scalable design system, the contract Design System Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences and ensure design consistency across digital platforms, with the flexibility to work hybrid or remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the platform design system roadmap and drive adoption of reusable UI components and design tokens
• Partner with UX Designers and Engineers to improve design-to-development workflows and establish governance processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalability and accessibility of UI components and provide implementation guidance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Design Systems, Product Design, UX/UI Design, or Front-End Engineering
• Demonstrated experience leading design system adoption for large-scale digital products
• Strong understanding of design governance, component libraries, and design tokens
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and component frameworks like React or Vue
