Design System Technical Architect

Job Summary

To support cross-functional teams, the remote Design System Technical Architect will lead the technical execution of enterprise design system segmentation initiatives, validate design token architecture, and develop governance documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large-scale enterprise design system segmentation initiatives and ensure consistency across design tools and engineering implementations
• Audit component libraries and design tokens to maintain scalability and resolve implementation issues with frontend engineering teams
• Develop migration standards and technical implementation guidance for ongoing design system management

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise Design Systems supporting multiple brands or products
• Deep expertise in Tokens Studio for Figma and design token architecture
• Strong understanding of design token hierarchy, naming conventions, and governance
• Experience managing large-scale component libraries and supporting design system migrations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure design-to-code parity
