Design Systems Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Systems Lead to drive the creation and maintenance of a design system for a major web redesign.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the definition, creation, and maintenance of the design system in Figma
• Audit existing design artifacts to define scalable patterns and reusable components
• Collaborate with UX designers and front-end developers to ensure consistency and accurate translation of design components

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in UX/design, with at least 3 years focused on design systems
• Expert-level Figma skills, including libraries and component variants
• Strong understanding of component-driven design and scalable architecture
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to align design and code
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience in regulated industries is a plus
