Design Technologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Technologist to shape and build a design system with a focus on AI-native workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-ready UI components that reflect design intent
• Shape the design system to be machine-readable and AI-friendly
• Act as a core member of the design team, providing technical perspectives and improving integration between design tools and engineering outputs

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in front-end engineering, design engineering, or design systems
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience building UI components in modern frameworks (e.g., Vue, React)
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design practices
• Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted design and development workflows
