Designer I

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Designer I will engage in gas and power design projects, focusing on project design, field surveys, quality assurance, and client relations while collaborating with a team of engineers and technical specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver cost-effective and high-quality infrastructure solutions
• Perform basic to intermediate engineering calculations and designs, as well as site surveys documenting existing conditions
• Implement design modifications to enhance project quality and process improvements while communicating effectively with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MS Office
• High School Diploma; minimum of an Associate's degree preferred
• Familiarity with Gas and Power Utility Design is a plus
• Valid Driver's License with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving record
• Ability and willingness to learn new technology quickly
