Designer I

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Designer I will manage gas and power design projects, focusing on project design, field surveys, QA/QC, and client relations while collaborating with a team of engineers and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to deliver cost-effective and high-quality infrastructure solutions
• Perform basic to intermediate engineering calculations and site surveys documenting existing conditions
• Contribute to design modifications and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MS Office
• High School Diploma or minimum of an Associate's degree preferred
• Ability to learn new technology quickly and communicate knowledge to team members
• Valid Driver's License with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving record
• Familiarity with Gas and Power Utility Design is preferred
