Designer II
Job Summary
To support a national team delivering diverse residential and commercial design services, the full-time Designer II will produce high-quality construction documentation using CAD/BIM software, while collaborating with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and CAD Technicians in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare complex architectural and engineering construction drawings utilizing AutoCAD Architecture and/or Revit
- Maintain regular communication with the Project Management team regarding project status and quality control procedures
- Mentor junior Designers and CAD/BIM Technicians on architectural design and technical software
Required qualifications
- B.S. in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field, or significant drafting experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in producing residential and/or commercial construction documentation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture and Revit is required
- Knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and CAD concepts
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software and graphic design tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus
