Job Summary
Collaborating on user-centered design and research initiatives, the remote Designer/Researcher will drive service-level changes for government programs, focusing on user needs through research, prototyping, and cross-functional teamwork.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research initiatives to enhance understanding of user needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive service-level changes and implement design solutions
- Develop research ideas from concept to production, including drafting research plans and conducting user interviews
Required qualifications
- At least two years of experience as a service designer or researcher within a professional environment
- Proven experience in mapping and driving systemic improvements in complex service environments
- Depth of experience in conducting and synthesizing qualitative research
- Understanding of web and mobile user interface design best practices
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
