Designer/Researcher

Job Summary

Collaborating on design and research initiatives, the remote Designer/Researcher will focus on enhancing government services through user-centered design, conducting user research, and driving service-level changes within cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research initiatives and share findings with collaborators
• Drive research ideas from concept to production, including drafting research plans and conducting user interviews
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement service design improvements based on user needs

Required qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a service designer or researcher within a professional environment
• Experience in mapping and driving systemic improvements in complex service environments
• Proficiency in conducting, synthesizing, and communicating qualitative research
• Understanding of web and mobile user interface design best practices
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
