Desktop Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the setup and maintenance of desktop hardware and software, the full-time hybrid Desktop Engineer will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with user onboarding and offboarding in Greensboro, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Support the setup, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrades of desktop hardware and computer equipment
• Provide hands-on or remote technical support for computer setups, software installations, upgrades, and maintenance tasks
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals while performing routine maintenance tasks

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Experience in providing technical support for desktop environments
• Familiarity with desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
• Understanding of security measures such as antivirus software and encryption protocols
• Ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant environment
