Desktop Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a diverse range of enterprise endpoints, the contract Desktop Engineer will manage and enhance macOS and Ubuntu endpoint services while resolving complex technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote role with some travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support macOS and Ubuntu endpoint services, ensuring high availability and security
• Lead resolution of complex technical issues related to macOS devices, applications, and endpoint tooling
• Enhance and optimize endpoint management workflows, including enrollment, provisioning, security, and compliance

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience supporting large macOS environments in enterprise settings
• Experience with Linux/Ubuntu administration or support is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of macOS, Linux/Ubuntu, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, and related endpoint management tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and with diverse stakeholders
