Job Summary

Seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join the Technology team in New York, this full-time position will provide both remote and in-person support for employees, managing trouble calls, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring effective resolution of end-user problems.

Key responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers needing technical assistance
  • Manage trouble calls via ticketing systems, phone, and desk-side visits to resolve end-user issues
  • Troubleshoot and support hardware, software, and network configurations, including Cisco phone systems and video conferencing
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of general IT support experience, preferably with trading desk support
  • Experience with incident management/ticketing systems like ServiceNow
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft/Office 365
  • Experience with System Center Configuration Manager/Endpoint Manager and patch management
  • High school degree required; college degree strongly preferred
