Job Summary

Desktop Support Technician, a full-time hourly position, provides walk-up technical support to campus employees, resolving hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide walk-up technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Configure, image, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Function as an escalation point for Level 1 support, tracking incidents through ServiceNow
Required Qualifications
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory administration
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in IT support
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Familiarity with standard software installations, including Windows 11 and Mac OS
