Job Summary
Desktop Support Technician, a full-time hourly position, provides walk-up technical support to campus employees, resolving hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide walk-up technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Configure, image, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Function as an escalation point for Level 1 support, tracking incidents through ServiceNow
Required Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory administration
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in IT support
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Familiarity with standard software installations, including Windows 11 and Mac OS
