Detection Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of advanced detection capabilities, the fully remote Detection Engineer will research emerging threats, design scalable detection logic, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security analytics globally.

Key responsibilities

• Research emerging threats and translate them into scalable detection capabilities and security analytics
• Investigate detection gaps and real-world incidents to improve coverage and accuracy
• Evaluate and enhance the quality of existing detections to ensure effectiveness against evolving attacker techniques

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, or a related security discipline
• Experience analyzing large-scale datasets and building data-driven solutions using Python, SQL, or similar technologies
• Proven ability to translate attacker techniques into effective detection logic
• Strong understanding of modern attack methodologies and investigative skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
