Detection Engineer (SOC Analyst)

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Detection Engineer (SOC Analyst) will monitor, detect, and analyze security incidents to protect digital assets, serving as the first line of defense against potential threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Detect and analyze security incidents using multiple security tools
• Respond promptly to security incidents, following established procedures and protocols

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations Centre
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with security technologies, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewall, and antivirus tools
• Understanding of computer networks, various operating systems, and endpoint fundamentals
