Detection Engineer with Public Trust

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Detection Engineer / Threat Hunter.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain threat detection use cases and analytics within SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Perform proactive threat hunting across various environments to identify advanced persistent threats
• Analyze logs and telemetry to detect malicious activity and enhance detection logic using threat intelligence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in threat detection, threat hunting, or SOC operations
• Experience with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and cloud security tools
• Strong knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat actor tactics
• Public Trust clearance required
