Developer Experience Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Developer Experience initiative, the full-time salaried Developer Experience Engineering Manager will enhance developer productivity and software delivery effectiveness by collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing best practices, while also mentoring and managing engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee teams throughout the software development lifecycle, setting and tracking goals for team members
• Recruit, mentor, and coach engineering individual contributors and tech leads to foster a productive work environment
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to improve software quality and delivery processes through shared platforms and tooling

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in technical leadership managing teams of 5 or more engineers
• Proven experience in developer experience and internal platform product management
• Strong knowledge of Amazon AWS and experience with service/microservices-oriented architecture
• Expertise in implementing Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams using Agile frameworks while managing technical debt strategically
