Developer Marketing Manager

Job Summary

Owning Shippo's presence in key developer communities, the full-time remote Developer Marketing Manager will engage authentically with developers, drive self-serve growth through effective documentation, and execute content strategies that establish Shippo as a thought leader in the shipping API space.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Shippo's engagement in developer communities like GitHub and Reddit, building relationships and activating advocates
• Develop and implement a content strategy focused on tutorials and guides that enhance developer experience and drive growth
• Design and execute hackathons and manage Shippo's presence at developer events to increase visibility and community engagement

Required qualifications

• 4-7 years of marketing experience, with 2-3 years focused on developer audiences or technical community building
• Experience creating technical content such as API tutorials and integration guides
• Hands-on experience planning and executing hackathons
• Comfort with APIs and developer tooling, with the ability to understand and evaluate developer experiences
• Understanding of product-led growth and self-serve go-to-market strategies
