Developer Success Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting developers and teams remotely, the full-time Developer Success Engineer will engage with customers to resolve issues, provide guidance, and enhance the developer experience by fixing bugs and writing sample code.

Key responsibilities

• Support and work directly with developers and teams using LiveKit, addressing support tickets and providing technical guidance
• Triage, file, and fix bugs while updating documentation and technical guides to assist customers
• Collaborate with community efforts and partner with Sales and Partnerships teams to ensure customer success

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as an engineer with the ability to build, ship, and debug production software
• Comfortable navigating unfamiliar codebases to diagnose and resolve issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various audiences
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn quickly in ambiguous situations
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to solving underlying problems
