Development Associate

Job Summary

To support major donor fundraising efforts, the part-time Development Associate will schedule meetings, conduct prospect research, and solicit donations while working remotely in a performance-driven, hands-on training program.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule meetings with major donors and document outreach activities in CRM systems
• Conduct research on donor prospects and prepare detailed reports for the Donor Relations team
• Make gratitude and discovery calls to donors, while tracking interactions and soliciting donations from assigned lists

Required qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track communications accurately
• Alignment with YAL's mission and principles of individual liberty
• Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct basic research and summarize findings
• Comfortable using Google Workspace and willing to learn CRM systems
• Coachable and eager to develop new skills in fundraising and donor communication
