Development Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Development to lead its fundraising and development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive development strategy to diversify revenue streams and deepen donor relationships
• Identify and cultivate new funding prospects while managing donor acquisition and stewardship efforts
• Oversee CRM implementation and optimize donor data management for strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the non-profit sector
• A degree in Non-profit Management, Business, Communications, Environmental Policy, or a related field
• Experience in environmental markets, particularly carbon markets, is preferred
• Proven ability to generate leads and manage donor pipelines effectively
• Strong grant writing and management skills with a track record of securing institutional funding
