Development Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Development Director to lead fundraising efforts and donor relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a multi-channel fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's mission and revenue goals
• Manage an active portfolio of individual, corporate, and foundation donors while cultivating and stewarding donor relationships
• Support the Chief Development Officer in updating policies and procedures for the fundraising operation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or at least 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong interest in fundraising and ability to build relationships with leadership and stakeholders
• High level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with donor management software
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
