Development Director

Job Summary

Leading major gift fundraising initiatives, the full-time salaried Development Director will collaborate with senior leadership to expand donor engagement and strengthen development systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the organization's major gift fundraising strategy, including donor prioritization and engagement
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with major donors through communication, meetings, and outreach efforts
• Create and manage development materials, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and goals

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit or political fundraising, with at least 3 years in major gift solicitation
• Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in creating donor-facing materials
• Proficient in relationship management and outreach for major donor and foundation fundraising
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as SalesForce
