Development Engagement Manager

Job Summary

To support regional fundraising and engagement efforts, the full-time salaried Development Engagement Manager will manage various fundraising events, oversee a portfolio of mid-level donors, and coordinate communications for the Chief Development and Communications Officer, with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage SAGE's regional fundraising and engagement events, including outreach efforts for host committee members
• Oversee a portfolio of mid-level donors, focusing on their cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
• Support Board fundraising efforts by tracking contributions and providing necessary tools and communications

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a project management role within a nonprofit development team
• Proven experience in cultivating and soliciting gifts from major donors and event sponsors
• Strong understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management, preferably Salesforce
