Development Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing Development Department, the full-time remote Development Manager will manage the institutional grants portfolio, build a mid-size individual donor program, and assist in major donor cultivation while collaborating with program teams to ensure effective fundraising practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Own grant writing, including research, proposal development, and reporting requirements
• Design and manage a new mid-size individual donor program, including strategy and cultivation techniques
• Support major donor cultivation and stewardship alongside the Senior Director, participating in all stages of the donor pipeline

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit development, specifically in grant writing and institutional funder relationships
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency with a CRM/fundraising database, preferably EveryAction/NGP VAN
• Demonstrated experience in managing an institutional grants pipeline from research through submission
• Interest in and/or experience with individual donor cultivation, particularly mid-size or major donors
