Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Development Manager who will be responsible for organizing and driving fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual and long-term fundraising strategies
• Write letters of inquiry, grant proposals, concept notes, and reports to various funders
• Research potential funders and manage outreach and solicitation efforts

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fundraising or in a nonprofit setting
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience building and managing a portfolio of funders
• Donor database management skills (preferably Raiser's Edge)
• Experience in West Africa or with international donors is a plus
