Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Development Manager for North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of front-end and back-end engineers, providing coaching and performance feedback
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering and other departments to ensure alignment
• Evaluate and maintain tools and systems that support the engineering team throughout the development lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a people management or team lead role
• Proven experience managing both front-end and back-end engineers
• Strong people leadership skills including hiring, coaching, and performance management
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational execution
