Development Manager

Job Summary

To lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts, the part-time contract Development Manager will collaborate with organizational leadership to develop strategies, cultivate donor relationships, and plan fundraising campaigns while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies and goals
• Build and manage a major gifts program, including donor cultivation and stewardship
• Plan and execute fundraising events and donor cultivation activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Five or more years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or donor relations
• Proven ability to secure major gifts and sponsorships
• Strong organizational skills and experience with donor databases
• Passion for social justice and commitment to the organization's mission
