Development Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the growth of a pooled fund focused on pro-democracy initiatives, the full-time remote Development Manager will manage donor relationships, conduct prospect research, and contribute to grant writing and fundraising strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Fund Director in developing and implementing fundraising strategies and managing donor relationships
• Conduct prospect research and maintain an active prospect list while preparing detailed meeting briefs for donor engagements
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and reports, ensuring timely delivery of fundraising materials

Required qualifications

• 7-9 years of relevant nonprofit or fundraising experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in raising funds from charitable foundations and individual donors
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Previous donor management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
• Excellent written communication skills and strong web research capabilities
