Development Manager

Job Summary

Managing day-to-day supervision of assigned developers, the full-time remote Development Manager will oversee application support and maintenance, provide leadership and direction to team members, and collaborate with cross-functional managers to enhance development processes across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with delivery development managers to supervise team members and manage client-facing developer allocations
• Guide and mentor the team on design, development, security, and deployment issues while enforcing coding standards and best practices
• Manage multiple internal initiatives to improve the development organization and facilitate performance management for team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of six years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
• 10+ years of software development leadership experience related to job responsibilities
• 3+ years of people management and development leadership experience in large complex organizations
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to document new standards and processes
• Strong working knowledge of development methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
