Job Summary

Managing relationships with landowners and regulatory agencies, the remote Development Manager will oversee permitting processes for renewable energy projects, coordinate with various teams, and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Develop and manage relationships with landowners, community stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals
• Oversee all permitting processes for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Engage with local governments and community groups to address concerns and communicate project benefits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field
• Two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
• Experience with land use regulations, environmental permitting processes, and zoning laws
• Experience evaluating land and utility distribution networks for optimal siting of renewable projects
• Knowledge of regulatory and policy changes impacting renewable energy projects
