Development Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Development Specialist I to support fundraising activities and manage donor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of annual donors and support donor-led events
• Assist in peer-to-peer and endurance fundraising campaigns and analyze event results
• Support corporate and foundation partnerships through proposal development and donor research

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of experience in a nonprofit organization, preferably in health-based fundraising
• Experience with peer-to-peer fundraising and endurance events
• Familiarity with fundraising databases and graphic design tools
• Understanding of donor stewardship principles and best practices
