Development Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the growth of a contributed-revenue pipeline, the full-time remote Development Specialist will manage grant writing and reporting, draft proposals, and collaborate with the Communications and Marketing Team to enhance donor communications.

Key responsibilities

• Research, draft, and edit grant proposals and fundraising materials while tracking submissions
• Develop and deliver accurate grant reports and donor communications, collecting relevant impact stories
• Coordinate the development pipeline by researching prospects and preparing materials for meetings

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in development, fundraising, or investor relations
• Strong skills in grant writing and proposal development
• Experience in delivering grant reports and donor communications
• Proficiency with AI-assisted proposal tools and CRM systems like Salesforce
• Interest in civic engagement and community organizing
