Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Device Testing and Automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure operational continuity by leading the validation of device software for POS devices and peripherals
• Lead the transition to an automation-first strategy to enhance testing efficiency
• Manage and mentor a team of SDETs and QA Engineers while modernizing testing processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing QA teams focused on device-specific testing and automation
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and validation strategies
• Experience testing Android-based hardware and familiarity with ADB-based operations
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Robot Framework, UIAutomator, or Python
• Familiarity with the challenges of testing physical hardware like POS terminals and peripherals
