DevOps Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time DevOps Automation Engineer, this remote position will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure automation solutions for medical device software platforms while collaborating with TechOps, SREs, Cloud Engineers, and Security teams to enhance efficiency and compliance in a regulated healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable, compliant, and secure infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible
• Enhance deployment pipelines with automated testing, security, and rollback capabilities while optimizing CI/CD workflows
• Ensure infrastructure automation aligns with regulatory requirements such as FDA, HIPAA, and ISO 13485, implementing security-as-code policies

Required qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure automation and DevOps within a medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry
• Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and automation
• Expertise in all AWS services including EC2, VPC, RDS, and Lambda
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks including ISO 13485 and HIPAA
