DevOps Cloud Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large enterprise technology organization, the contract DevOps Cloud Automation Engineer will design and maintain automation frameworks and cloud infrastructure for API platforms while collaborating with distributed development teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps solutions and cloud infrastructure for API platforms
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and scripting technologies
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive resolution of infrastructure and application problems

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of DevOps engineering experience supporting CI/CD and cloud automation initiatives
• 2+ years of experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Bash, and Shell
• Familiarity with API management technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
