Job Summary

A company is looking for a DevOps Engineer to maintain and enhance their Ruby on Rails platform in AWS and Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and manage Ruby on Rails applications in AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and security
Monitor application and infrastructure logs to proactively identify and resolve issues
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes

Required Qualifications

Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in computer science
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a DevOps engineering role
Advanced expertise in AWS EC2, Aurora, PostgreSQL, NGINX, and Kubernetes
Experience with Ruby programming language and extensive knowledge of Ubuntu
Experience with Git or Mercurial, GitHub Actions/GitLab Pipelines, and CI/CD tools
