DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support cloud infrastructure and improve operational efficiencies, the fully remote Contract-to-Hire DevOps Engineer will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement security controls, and enhance the reliability and scalability of deployed software applications.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software applications and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement security measures and monitoring to ensure system health, performance, and reliability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud experience in production environments, preferably with AWS
• In-depth understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline tools such as Argo CD, Jenkins, or GitLab Runner
• Solid scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
• Strong understanding of security fundamentals and access management
