DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the design and automation of secure systems, the full-time remote DevOps Engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards for VA programs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning using approved tools
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments while implementing monitoring and logging solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline delivery workflows and support Agile processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of DevOps, cloud engineering, or automation experience
• Experience supporting federal agencies such as VA, DoD, or HHS
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks and secure DevOps practices
