DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs, a full-time remote DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on automation, CI/CD, and collaboration with development teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, Lambda, and EKS
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Implement cloud security best practices and monitor cloud infrastructure for performance and availability
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud security
- Production experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
