DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a software development team focused on an internal actuarial solution cloud platform, the full-time remote DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure system reliability while mentoring implementation teams on best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure with automated provisioning and configuration management
- Develop and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, adhering to industry best practices
- Mentor teams on DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies while implementing solutions for legacy systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure with expertise in cloud platforms and automation
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and RDS
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell
