DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing Site Reliability Engineering team, the full-time remote DevOps Engineer will operate and maintain client infrastructure, automate administrative tasks, and provide technology leadership while collaborating with team members on continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and administer client infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency and availability
- Conduct root cause analysis for outages and incidents, while identifying opportunities for improvement in client systems
- Act as a technology leader, driving discussions on technology road maps and collaborating with teammates to enhance working culture
Required qualifications
- Experience with Google Cloud and AWS, including infrastructure as code deployment using tools like Terraform
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python and Scala
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and container technologies, particularly Kubernetes
- Comprehensive experience in systems hardware and network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, processes, and culture
