DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Trusted Systems team, the remote DevOps Engineer II will develop infrastructure and automation solutions, manage CI/CD pipelines, and provide performance support for container orchestration engines while collaborating with engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure and task automation using Ansible and scripting languages
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for automating code building, testing, and deployment using GitLab
- Install, configure, and support container orchestration engines like Kubernetes and OpenShift
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with automation tools and a solid understanding of Linux
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters
- General understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDL)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
